Description

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."--Matthew 28 19-20

Shadows added thanks to this tutorial [link]

I'm really happy with how this one turned out. It's the first time I used GIMP in a while (I'm not interested in this enough to make it worth shelling out the money for Photoshop), so wasn't expecting it to be so easy. I guess it's sorta like riding a bike. And good golly, it's so much easier to do straight photomanips than painting while in those programs! I HIGHLY respect digital painters!!!

Yeah, I'm not quite sure where this came from. I guess rjdp1 gets some credit, since it was that background pic that gave me the idea. I don't know where the whole sword/knighting thing came from; it was just kinda spontaneous. I couldn't sleep last night and found all these stock pics, and just had to make something. I may make a version with the Bible verse on it, but this is just the picture.

There's a little Narnia here, isn't there? Totally unintentional, truly. ;)

Yeah, this is copyrighted.

All thanks goes to the lovely stock providers for use of their images. Thanks much!

~*~EDIT~*~

Shadows added, small errors fixed. I want to fix the angle of the sword, but GIMP went all screwy on me, and those layers combined, so it's not possible. :/

So cool! Like most people are saying, I thought of Alsan too. It's so great to see people use art to bring glory to God. :)
