So Damn Beautiful

Exactly a week ago, I was having one of my bad days. Depression is fickle like that. I was plodding along through my day when a classmate who I'd never spoken to me looked straight at me and said "You are so damn beautiful, girl."

I don't know if there are really any words to describe how that made me feel. When you read it on paper, it sounds so weird or creepy, but it's more like...well, like Jesus. Jesus did all sorts of things that sound strange on paper, but in life it's like we're getting a tiny fraction of what we miss out on every day.

(And about the cursing--live. I feel it conveys what I'm trying to say, and I'm not actually cursing anyone. I'm using it as an adjective. It's a writer's word choice, and as the writer, I have a chance to choose my words. I know it offends some people, and I'm sorry.)

I feel like this is a message I absolutely have to spread. Tell it to your mom, your dad, your brothers and sisters, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your sons, your daughters, your fish and your cats, your best friends and your worst enemies. This is the only way I can sum it all up...

He suffered and died and rose for you, because you are so damn beautiful.
